Pediatric Nurse/Nursing Major

This major is a program that prepares registered nurses (RNs) to provide care for children from infancy through adolescence.

Includes instruction in the administration of medication and treatments, assisting physicians, patient examination and referral, and planning and delivering health maintenance and health education programs.

What can you do with a major/degree in Pediatric Nurse/Nursing Major?

As a certified Pediatric Nurse your patients will be children, from infants to 18-year-olds.  You will need a unique set of capabilities in communication and treatment techniques as you will be working with patients who may not even be able to talk yet requires unique diagnostic insight.
